Leanpeople.com specifically prohibits any use of any Leanpeople.com site, and all users agree not to use, or allow any party under their control to use, any Leanpeople.com site, for any of the following:
Posting any incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information which is not your own accurate CV (living individual seeking employment on a full-time or part-time basis on his or her own behalf). Leanpeople.com companies are not responsible for CV accuracy or for for referrer comments about candidates.
Posting any franchise, pyramid scheme, "club membership", distributorship or sales representative agency arrangement or other business opportunity which requires an up front or periodic payment, pays commissions only (no significant salary), requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents.
Using the Leanpeople.com CV database for any purpose other than as an employer or agency seeking employees for specific live jobs including, but not limited to:
1.Using the information in the CV database to sell or promote any products or services or to source people to join a franchise, pyramid scheme, “club membership”, distributorship or sales representative agency arrangement or other business opportunity that requires an up front or periodic payment, pays commissions only (no significant salary), requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents.
2. Sending unsolicited mail or e-mail, making unsolicited phone calls or sending unsolicited faxes regarding promotions and/or advertising of products or services to a user of a Leanpeople.com site.
3. Deleting or revising any material posted by any other person or entity.
4. Using any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any Leanpeople.com Site or any activity being conducted on this Web Site.
5. Taking any action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on any Leanpeople.com site's infrastructure.
7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, using or attempting to use any engine, software, tool, agent or other device or mechanism including, without limitation, browsers, spiders, robots, avatars or intelligent agents to navigate or search any Leanpeople.com site other than the search engine and search agents available from Leanpeople.com on such Leanpeople.com sites and other than generally available third party web browsers (e.g., Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Explorer).
8. Attempting to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of any Leanpeople.com site.
9. Aggregating, copying or duplicating in any manner any of the Web Site Content or information available from any Leanpeople.com site.
10. Framing of or linking to any of the Web Site Content or information available from any Leanpeople.com site.
11. Posting jobs which require the applicant to provide information relation to his/her (i) racial or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs (iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual life (vii) the commission of criminal offences or proceedings or (vii) age.
As a user, you are responsible for your own communications and are responsible for the consequences of their posting. You must not, and by using any Leanpeople.com Site you agree not to, do the following things: post material that is copyrighted unless you are the copyright owner or have the permission of the copyright owner to post it; post material that reveals trade secrets unless you own them or have the permission of the owner; post material that infringes on any other intellectual property rights of others or on the privacy or publicity rights of others; post material that is obscene, offensive, vulgar, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, racist, sexist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or embarrassing, or which may cause annoyance, anxiety or inconvenience to another user or any other person or entity; post a sexually-explicit image or statement; post advertisements or solicitations of business; post chain letters or pyramid schemes; impersonate another person; or post material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other computer programming routines or engines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or information.
Leanpeople.com does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of communications posted by users or endorse any opinions expressed by users. You acknowledge that any reliance on material posted by other users will be at your own risk.
Leanpeople.com acts as a passive conduct for the online and headhunter distribution and publication of user-submitted information and has no obligation to screen communications or information in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring material posted by users (if the CV checker facility is used, Leanpeople.com is not liable for content other than grammatical and spelling error corrections and is not liable for changes made after the CV has been checked with Leanpeople.com and posted on the web). If notified by a user of communications which allegedly do not conform to these Terms and Conditions, Leanpeople.com may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of the communication.
Leanpeople.com has no liability or responsibility to users for performance or nonperformance of such activities. Leanpeople.com reserves the right to expel users and prevent their further access to the Web Site for violating the Terms and Conditions or the law and the right to remove communications which are abusive, illegal or disruptive. Leanpeople.com may take any action with respect to user-submitted information that it deems necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion if it believes it may create liability for Leanpeople.com or may cause Leanpeople.com to lose (in whole or in part) the services of its ISPs or other suppliers.

The site Leanpeople.com is not involved in the actual transaction between employers, recruiters, candidates and referrers. As a result, Leanpeople.com has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or CVs posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of employers to offer job opportunities to candidates or the ability of candidates to fill job openings. In addition, note that there are risks including, but not limited to, the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretences. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom you come in contact through the Web Site and/or the other Leanpeople.com Sites or affiliates.
Because user authentication on the Internet is difficult, Leanpeople.com cannot and does not confirm that each user is who they claim to be. If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about the Leanpeople.com Sites or refer a job posting to a friend, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. Personal Information on CVs and Profiles
Since Leanpeople.com is a career site, we give you three options regarding the accessibility of your CV and Profile:
1. You can register and select your full profile to appear in the CV search database for all paying employers to see (and for your summary to be seen by all non paying employers for free).
2. You can choose to upload your CV but not make your profile information available generally. In this case, a link to this information may be sent to the employer directly via email.
3. We may contact you about other opportunities and ask to forward your CV to interested parties; this will only be with your permission.
We attempt to limit access to our searchable CV database (or copies thereof) only to paying employers and human resource professionals in companies, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of hidden or other CVs by accident or fraudulent use by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database. You may remove your resume or profile on Leanpeople.com at anytime, but, employers who have paid for access to the Leanpeople.com CV database or have obtained a copy of that database from any means, may have retained a copy of your CV and profile. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of CVs or profiles in these instances. We may share your information for headhunting purposes.
Posting to Public Areas of Leanpeople.com
Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of Leanpeople.com, such as in the searchable CV database, such information may be collected and used by others over whom we have no control. We are not responsible for the use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make available in public areas of Leanpeople.com.
We use "cookies" to help personalise and maximise your online experience and time online. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a Web page server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Use of Web Beacons

You may review, correct, update or change your Lean People account information at any time. From your Lean People account you may also opt out of receiving newsletters and certain other information from Leanpeople.com.
To change your Leanpeople.com account information, simply log into your My Account, review your account information and, if you wish, edit it with the options provided.
To change your Leanpeople.com billing account information, simply log into your account and choose a link under Manage Your Account. If you opted to receive newsletters, commercial e-mails or other communications from Leanpeople.com or third parties at the time you created your account, but subsequently change your mind, you may opt-out by editing your Account Profile as described above. If you previously opted not to receive such communications, you may later opt-in by editing your Account Profile as well.
We retain indefinitely all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use of Leanpeople.com more efficient, practical, and relevant. Of course, you can delete your CV from Leanpeople.com's online database, close your account at any time, in which event we will remove all our copies of your resume from Leanpeople.com, your account information, except for an archival copy which is not accessible on the Internet.
Security of the Personal Information
We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
When you place an order online at Leanpeople.com, your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol.
